Ranunculus Flammula, also known as the Lesser Spearwort Lanceolate, has leaves with branching stems that hold a large number of little yellow buttercup-type flowers. Ranunculus means 'little frog'. Little maintenance is required. Trim back after flowering to encourage a second flush.
